- Local & Nationwide - Cover in the event your customer’s vehicle breaks down more than one mile from your home
- Nationwide & Home Start – includes all the benefits of our local and nationwide cover, inclusive on Home Start providing cover for breakdowns at a home address
- European – giving customers comfort when driving in Europe across 50 destinations
Our Motor Breakdown network
Our approved and fully contracted network is structured to maximise job acceptance and deliver the right outcomes for customers. Its depth and strength means that we have several options available during busy times, to help reach customers without undue delay.
All of our operatives are accredited to PAS43 standard and have the advantage of local knowledge, which can be useful in ascertaining vulnerability.
Local premises are available to support a fix, away from unsafe locations. Our Motor Dashboard provides live regional performance, and key metrics on more complex cases, helping us to identify where additional intervention is required.
Our specialist motorcycle network
We have an established motorbike service with bike specialist SOS, spanning over 20 years. They have specialist mechanical knowledge, resulting in more fixes at the roadside, and the expertise to recover motorcycles safely.
‘ONE AXA’ international capability
Our international strength and breadth gives us access to 1,000 Motor Breakdown operators across Europe, providing our customers with peace of mind when travelling abroad. We work closely with two repatriation partners across Europe and have a dedicated motorcycle facility. Our French operational teams are able to provide local expertise and advice to ensure our customers receive the optimum experience, during what can be a stressful event.
Online claims notification
eRescue is our online claims notification tool. It enables customers to log their breakdown without having to call the contact centre. It is automated from initial claim through to deployment of the operator, providing customers with a straight-forward and efficient journey.
Online recovery tracking
TrackMyRescue provides peace of mind to customers that help is on its way. Customers can simply track their recovery service following notification of a claim.
The tool provides customers with an unprecedented understanding of the exact location of their recovery service and an estimated time of arrival.

A valuable product where a customer is not covered under their Motor Insurance policy, e.g. Third Party, Fire and Theft. Cover includes the repair or replacement of broken glass for a car's windscreen (including panoramic windscreens) or windows, and any scratching to the bodywork caused solely and directly by broken glass.
